FOREVER LOVE joins her in that ministry on the W.W.J.D. Radio/Internet Broadcast

MINISTRY OUTREACH PROJECTS:

  • FOOD, CLOHTING, COUNSELING & SOME FURNITURE:

Due to the copper being stolen out of our two large condenser units the summer of 2008, the Jets after school program and Whiz Kids tutoring programs with drew from our facilities and also withdrew the financial support of our bills and our food project through the FOOD BANK.

Despite our numerous losses in funding due to our Air Conditioner Crisis in July 2008, our church decided NOT to stop our Clothing and Food and Counseling outreach. In fact, we increased it: from once every other month on food baskets and catch us as you can during services times for clothing and counseling to: Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday 10a-2p.

During the increase in gasoline prices we were open almost everyday and seeing as many as 30 families daily in for food, clothing and counseling!

We have serviced many off I-40 trying to go “Home” –from out of state.

Hurricane Refugees from Galveston, TX and also, believe it or not, a few refugees from Katrina who where brought here from New Orleans are STILL being helped by our food, clothing, and counseling ministries.

  • VBS 2009 resulted in the salvation of two Native American boys.

  • FIXIN’ THE FLATS BY PICKIN’ THE STICKERS

Last Fall we held a successful discipleship/counseling program designed and led by Sandy Lynn Patton for problems with addictions. Through it we have had additions to our church, the salvation of one teenage boy and his mom.

A total of seven persons changed their lives (that we know of) from addictions: a boy child, two teenage boys, a middle aged female, two middle aged men, and a senior adult female. All were Native Americans except the middle-aged men and one male teen were Caucasians. Of these the changes were as follows: the females had huge weight loss totally changing their appearance and others have totally changed their lives styles from many of the following: drugs, porn, stealing, rebellion, the bar scene, school drop-outs, addiction to prescription drugs, and cigarettes.
