WHAT KIND OF GOD?

If some one came up to you and asked you
"What kind of GOD is GOD?"
How would you answer?

"He is the Creator Of The Universe,"
you might say.

Okay, the question is then:
"Is this Creator GOD like a watchmaker?"
"Does HE build the watch, wind it up, and set it and let it run it's course?"

GOD is much more than

"The Creator Of The Universe."

HE is also

"The Sustainer Of The Universe,"

continually taking care of and overseeing Creation. GOD is contantly involved with the state of affairs of HIS creation: thus overseeing the development of time as it rolls out into eternity!

Putting these two together:

"The Creator and Sustainer Of The Universe,"

is a fairly good description of what kind GOD, GOD is. However, there is more!

What is revealed to us about GOD through Scripture, is HIS expressed love for HIS unique creation: mankind.

...since you are precious and honored in MY sight, and because I love you.

- ISAIAH 43:4 NIV

This expression of love, on GOD's part, is demonstrated to be not only every initimate, but also involves deep emotional feelings.

There come times in everyone's life when they have trouble believing in GOD. But remember:

HE BELIEVES IN US!
